●Lucia attended Moorhead State University, MN, USA and received her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. Next, she pursued her graduate study at North Dakota State University, ND, USA, where she was offered a Teaching Assistantship and earned her Master’s degree in Computer Science. ●Moving from Los Angeles, California, USA to Taiwan allowed her to learn Chi-nese Mandarin, a language she had limited exposure to as a child. It hasn’t been easy but it has also given her an opportunity to compare Chinese with English, be it the vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation or intonation. Furthermore, she took English tests, such as TOEIC and TOEFL, just to experience what students go through when taking such tests. As a result, she deeply understands each student’s needs and diffi-culties in learning English and in turn she designs each class accordingly. English is easy so let’s get busy. You can do it!
