Jack: What do you do, Susan?
Susan: I work at Green Coffee Shop. I make coffee all day.
Jack: Is that a part-time job? I mean, I can’t imagine doing that full-time.
Susan: Hey! Show some respect, will you? It’s not that easy trying to please everyone. Some people like it this way; some people like it that way. And there are so many things to remember, too.
Jack: OK, OK. I get the picture. But it’s the same with every job and company. I don’t have it easy either. I need to take care of a lot of things, too.
Susan: Oh? What do you do?
Jack: I run a small business. I import coffee beans and brewing equipment. Don’t get me wrong—I know how popular Green Coffee Shop is, but their beans aren’t the greatest.
Susan: What makes your beans so special?
Jack: I can’t tell you that! It’s a trade secret!
Susan: Can I work for you?
Jack: Only if you beg me!
