WORK EXPERENCE
●Online English Teacher at The Overseas Teacher.
Conducted 45 minute lessons 16-20 times each week. Taught a range of levels and abilities amongst children ages 5-12. I built excellent rapport with my students, made the classroom a fun, interactive and interesting environment. Learnt to use different computer software’s. Awarded children with certificates and other praise forms. Achieved excellent classroom management and achieved consistently high marks and comments in each of my reviews.
● Volunteering as a paired leader.
I conducted one-to-one sessions with children that were underachieving in their reading skill. We worked on phonetics and spellings together, as well as reading techniques. We also discussed strengths and weaknesses, and I acted as a motivator and a confidence builder. (Glenfrome Primary School, Bristol, 2018).
●Volunteering as an Orphanage assistant in Morocco.
Encouraged children’s English-speaking skill by engaging in creative and outdoor play, being a supervisor, working one-to-one with children and in groups. (Rabat, 2016).
