INFORMATION
• Hello! I’m Deeani, a South Florida native who loves learning about different cultures and languages. I believe teaching is a two-way learning experience—teachers can learn from their students just as students learn from their teachers.
• I lived in Japan for 3 years and taught English to Japanese elementary school students. I speak Japanese and Spanish, and in my free time, I enjoy writing stories, songs, and music. I am also working on publishing a fantasy novel.
• My teaching philosophy is to adapt lessons to each student’s learning style while encouraging them to step outside their comfort zone. My goal is to make challenging English feel less intimidating, more enjoyable, and inspire students to become lifelong learners.
