I’m Jesse and I grew up on a beautiful, sandy beach in the south of Sydney, Australia. I first learnt how to use chopsticks while catching flies as a young lad at outdoor barbecues, but for a while my experience with other cultures ended there. Later, I graduated from the University of Sydney with a Master of Communication and International Relations, furthering my studies with a Cambridge University CELTA – best decision ever!

My real interest in Asia began during my university life where I worked as a freelancer in Australia helping new immigrants and exchange students find jobs, make local friends and become more confident in both language and in life. This journey then took me across Chongqing and Sichuan, Beijing, and finally to Taipei where I am pretty settled for now.

Students and working professionals are often missing out on the essential skills necessary to perform and achieve their goals. I like to draw from a broad range of current and past materials to assist individuals to communicate confidently and effectively in their personal and working life.
